3-Hour Women's Self-Defense Seminar
The 3-Hour Women’s Self-Defense Seminar is an excellent way for those who have no experience with self-defense—and may find these topics terrifying or triggering—to gain a valuable, effective set of skills and a new mindset with which to apply them, in a comfortable, non-threatening and safe environment. Allow Swamp Fox Tactics to highlight your existing potential and show you how to use it to survive dangerous confrontations. There are survivors and there are victims—but you can become a fighter.
Topics include situational awareness, proper body positioning, how to throw basic yet effective strikes, and looking through the lens of a fighter’s mentality.
Introduction to self-defense weapons and how to effectively employ them.
This seminar is by no means “one size fits all.” We tailor all aspects all aspects of self-defense to both the class and the individuals participating.
You will leave the seminar mentally prepared to enact violence to protect yourself and your loved ones. This shift is quite possibly the most valuable takeaway.
For discounts on self-defense items, access to training videos, opportunities to continue your training (and share it with friends!), and more, please refer to our Swamp Fox Community for membership perks. We love empowering our Vixens.
“I never saw a wild thing sorry for itself. A small bird will drop frozen dead from a bough without ever having felt sorry for itself."

“I was attending a concert at a venue in Sacramento with my husband. It was general admission so everyone was standing together, packed in fairly tightly. When my husband left to get a beer, the ‘gentleman’ behind me took the opportunity to touch me inappropriately. As a woman in a relatively high-alert atmosphere, I naturally had up some defenses. As a woman who took Jason’s 3-hour self-defense class earlier that year, I not only had up those defenses but I had some tactics at the ready as well. I spun around, placed three fingertips of my right hand just above the notch of his sternum, and pressed into that very tender spot with a clear direction for him to back up. And yes, it was said with a couple of words that I’m sure any reader can imagine! This alone was enough of a warning shot across the bow that this guy may not want to continue down this path with me. His eyes grew very wide, as did his friend’s, who quickly suggested they both go stand elsewhere. As a petite woman, I am so grateful for the easy-to-use skills Jason gave me to deescalate what could be very dangerous situations. They aren’t skills I hope to use, but they make life much less fearful.”—Toube, Chico, CA
